Wine Routes

Majkin Salaš Winery

Majkin Salaš Winery is located in Palić within a family estate, 3 km from the shore of Lake Palić. It is part of an ethno-park covering 60 hectares, which includes a restaurant, accommodation, a swimming pool, a museum of old machinery, a children’s playground, a farmyard, a stud farm, and a fish pond. Wines are made from Chardonnay and Merlot grapes, and what is characteristic for our winery is the fruit wine produced from apples and blackberries. Wine tastings are organized in the Majkin Salaš restaurant, which also houses a small museum, i.e., a wine room. Besides tastings, guests can visit the modern production facility where the wine is made and aged. The entire estate is surrounded by orchards, mostly growing apples. In addition to local wines, guests can taste other homemade products from the estate, homemade apple juices (5 varieties), and homemade brandies (4 varieties).
